unORTnung was a series of six exhibitions in Vienna in which abandoned, historical and/or significant buildings were occupied. The potential of the inactive spaces, and their histories, were revitalized by the flocks of artist interventions, creating new opportunities for an ephemeral, critical, self-reflective usage oriented on a very contemporary understanding of art: reasonably priced, networked, site-specific, NOW, subversive, and festive.
