Peter Kogler is one of Austria’s most prominent and innovative artists in the use of digital technologies. This new catalog is sensational because it showcases a series of works from Kogler’s pre-digital era. These include the eerie figures and cardboard sculptures he exhibited at the Gracie Mansion Gallery in the East Village in 1985, where he lived for several months.
