Peter Köllerer
Bundesstrasse 1
Peter Köllerer spent several years along the national highway B 1. He took the time to stop, ponder, and make photographs, catching it all: the ridiculous, the small and repellent, the lonlyness and melancholy of the area: brick-walls, entrance doors, fileds and gasoline stations, high seats and all the deposits of time along the road. There are about 150 images, all b/w and square, somehow fitting, and just abstract enough to make them timeless.
