Elfie Semotan

Breaking with conventions—that is the common thread in the work of photographer Elfie Semotan. The exhibition at the Francisco Carolinum Linz shows pictures from around 50 years, which confirm how independently and transgressively she has worked against fashions and rules. In addition to Semotan’s fashion photographs, the exhibition and book also show her still lifes, portraits and staged free works.
